Makassar – Candidate number 02 for president, Prabowo Subianto, expressed his gratitude to the people of Makassar for their support for him.
“Ewako! Thank you for the support of the people of South Sulawesi for Prabowo Subianto for years and still believe in me,” said Prabowo in his political speech at the ‘Silaturahmi Relawan Prabowo-Gibran se-Sulses’ event on Friday (2/2).
Prabowo recalled that, although he lost in the 2019 presidential election, he still received a majority of votes in South Sulawesi.
“I did lose to Mr. Jokowi twice, but I won in South Sulawesi. During my service in the military, I saw that soldiers from South Sulawesi are soldiers who never surrender and have a loyal nature until the end,” said Prabowo.
In front of tens of thousands of people, Prabowo reminded them that soon the people will choose their leader.
He urged them to vote with their conscience and emphasized that sovereignty lies in the hands of the people.
“In 12 days, citizens will exercise their sovereignty. Therefore, do not choose the wrong leader,” Prabowo said. (SENOPATI)
